A good internal network based on 1 Gigabit Ethernet and only several clients needing to browse at the same time they went for an all high-res solution. Reckoning that any browsing client will only play one track at a time and that their server can handle the additional traffic they setup a network where all media stays native the way they are and get browsed and searched in that way. The MediaBrowser creates FCP editlists on the fly and they can also be played by journalists and editors to examine the selected files before real editing begins.   MediaBrowser for Reality television Reality television recording has special needs. Therefore a special version of the MediaBrowser is tailored to meet these demands. Storybuilding out of lengthy scenes needs some additional tools. One of them is to be able to log on the incoming media and adjust those logs on the fly. Clips in this configuration are merely pointers to ever-running low-res encoders. A large database structure gives the users the power to build their own structure. MediaBrowser is part of the MXFserver software.
